Automobile Club Verona is glad to propose to members, citizens and fans a literary work that celebrates the deeds of the great Verona's motobiker Bruno Ruffo, the first Italian that won the 250 class world championship in the far 1949, winning again in 1950 and in 1951 in different classes. But Bruno Ruffo has been a pilot all-accomplished, venturing into car races, as well as motorbike's, and achieving an honourable third place at the Garda Circuit in 1950, behind such a top pilots as Ascari and Serafini.
Champion of the past, Bruno Ruffo, thanks to his talent, passion and perseverance, is still a great example for the Italian bikers of today, making the city of Verona proud of numbering him among its distinguished representatives .
A.C. Verona, institutionally and fondly given to the world of engines, is honoured to pay tribute to such an important protagonist of ever of motoring sport competitions.
